David Johnson began his music career in the early ‘70s with a group called Incense.
The group performed to sold-out audiences and shared the stage with artists such as Ester Phillips, Michael Bolton, Al Wilson, Eddie Money, Stryper, and Con Funk Shun on the Jay Peyton Show.
David’s performances of classic Motown, R&B, and Jazz hits leave audiences captivated by his smooth, soulful voice, while his dynamic take on present-day R&B and pop songs is guaranteed to get the party started.
He’s showcased his talents for the benefit of numerous community foundations and fundraisers, including Relay for Life, Salvation Army, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness, and for the relief victims of the Boston Marathon.
David performs year-round at dozens of wineries and notable venues throughout the South Bay and has been the featured vocalist at corporate events held at some of the most well-known destinations on the Peninsula.
